may look into making an even bigger game demo if I feel it is fun enough
Game is adjacent to whack-a-mole where you have to understand enemy patterns and hit them before they move to their next location.
I managed to integrate the features I originally planned to have for the jam!
Post Jam Features:
- fixed "double hit bug" experienced by some devices
- fixed rigid input feeling, delay is removed, and Q can be used more naturally (still has cooldown) | fixed disconnect between impact and weapon
- leaderboard
- major balance changes (missing now drains power, enemies are introduced slowly, too much healing, too many spirits and not enough places to spend them, etc.)
- new upgrades: (triple shot, lightning strike, empowered strike, repeater ... etc. 10 additional and impactful upgrades)
- better repair cost scaling
- minor sfx fixes
- option to disable camera shake
- game resets properly
- alternative to mouse click (E)
Important stuff: (fixed)
Red spirits are created after two spirits paths intersect with each other. If red spirits aren't destroyed in time, you will lose power.
The attack may double strike, it did not occur on my pc, but I have seen people have this issue. It will be fixed post jam.
If you happen to get stuck and feel invincible, keep attacking, the difficulty will ramp up with spirits destroyed.
If you want an extra challenge, don't use the superior repair. I've heard that it may feel like you have too much power and it may take longer to finish a run.
